i wish i'd never become happy...

...then perhaps being comfortable with my sadness wouldn't be this backwards, uphill battle.

i'm posting this gray art because it's from a new exhibit I want to see...it opens this week in chelsea. She looks like she's suffocating, doesn't she? But all the while examining her life and peacefully allowing it to happen. The Heirloom, from Danny Hobart's "If I Should Die Before I Wake."

Isn't their some kind of kinky sex act that involves this type of head coverage? anyway, what's the name of the exhibit?

lol. i'm sure there is...hmmmph. you can see more info about it below the image...it's called "If I Should Die Before I Wake," and it's a tad bit morbid. therefore, I'm intriqued.

If you'd never become happy then you wouldn't have anything to look forward to as you battle the battle. Keep your head up.

That photo is eerily peaceful. I think acceptance of life and fate when I see it. I just may check out exhibit. thanks.

lol @ your comment to rashad: "its a tad bit morbid so i'm intrigued."

Im laughing because im like that too. for example i LOVE walking through a cemetery. No really. (have i said this before? i feel like im repeating myself) I enjoy reading the headstones and i try to imagine what the people were like. Some folks lived remarkably long lives, and then there were those cut terribly short. Its a great place to find peace and introspection.

Anyway, if you go to the exhibit, let us know how it was!
