jake ryan is one of my enduring crushes. lol. I can watch sixteen candles right now, and as old as i am, STILL feel that "feeling" in the pit of my stomach when he appears on screen. and the fact that she gets him at the end?? It was a coup for all nerdy girls with flat chests and underdeveloped social skills everywhere.
john hughes will forever be a hero for documenting teen angst in such an enjoyable manner.
